Monday 28th

BA981 TXL-LHR. Arrived early but had to wait on the tarmac for a gate to become free.

Sunday 27th

Paul and Klaus hired a car from Deutsche Bahn Carsharing and took us to Werder where Klaus used to work.

Saturday 26th

Exhibition on Alex about the fall of the wall. More here. From the Park Inn hotel on Alex you can do this.   Dean and Phil went to the Pierre et Gilles retrospective. Saw the BVG Party Bus. Meal with Nick and friend, Dean and Phil at Abruzzo. 

Friday 25th

First class lounge at LHR very busy. Flight to TXL not too busy. Dietmar was in Club accumulating points for his silver card. Taxi to the flat.

Saturday19th

Flight back with easyJet, first in a long time. Although our easyJet cards had not arrived the staff let us “speedy board”. easyJet being flexible! Seats: 1b and 1c! Didn’t spend any money on board though.

Friday 18th

Cleared out the cellar. Dinner at Magnifica. A very pleasant end to the week even though they have now added a strange sauce to their fajitas. Perhaps the last night for eating outside this year? Discussed holidays for next year: Sitges, Gran Canaria, Russia, South America, Egypt, Calgary. A quiet year then.

Spent the rest of the evening booking flights Berlin/Moscow!

Thursday 17th

Shopping centre Das Schloss in Steglitz (take U9 to Rathaus Steglitz).
